As an activity aide, you will work closely with our residents leading programs for individuals and groups, along with transporting and assisting residents on outings.
This position is 40 hours per week with typical hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There will be occasional changes to hours due to outings and some evening events, but you will be notified ahead of time. As an activity aide, you will be required to work 2 Saturdays per month.
Must hold a valid Wisconsin driver's license (you will be driving our bus for outings-- don't worry, training is provided)
Ability to push up to 300 pounds in a wheelchair
Experience with current technology such as iPads, laptops, Kindles, etc.

Resident Assistant-- CBRF
On Heritage Center (Assisted Living unit) we have the following openings: Day shift - 8 hours every other weekend, PM shift - 16, 20, and 24-hour openings, and Night shift - 16-hour and 8-hour (every other weekend).
On Magnolia Gardens (Memory Care unit) we have 24 and 32-hour openings on the night shift. All positions 20-hours or more are benefit eligible.
Duties include assisting residents with activities of daily living, maintaining cleanliness of rooms, participating in resident programs, administering medication and more. The successful candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Part time, benefit openings on the pm shift. We also have non-benefit openings in the Weekender and In House Pool programs. The Weekender program requirements are to work 2 shifts per weekend, 2 weekends per month and every other holiday. You have the opportunity to earn vacation time after one year of employment. The In House Pool program requirements are to work 2 weekend shifts per month and to pick up 3 holidays per year. The successful candidate must have completed an approved nursing assistant program and be in good standing on the Wisconsin State Registry.
Nutrition Courtesy Coordinator
Skaalen is looking to hire a Nutrition Courtesy Coordinator. This position is full-time and benefit eligible. Wage will be based on experience. Hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some weekends and holidays This position will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage service throughout the facility, communicating with manager(s), and will be accountable for consistent quality of service. This position will work closely with servers and residents.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Be at least 18 years old (required)
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
HACCP/Serv-Safe certified, or the ability to attain certification within 90 days of hire
Strong oral and written communication skills in the English Language
Efficient with basic computer systems including Microsoft Office, email, and ECS
Self-motivated and organized
Understands exceptional customer service
Looking for a joyful, flexible chef for our new Residential Care Apartment Complex (Skaalen Heights). The hours for this position are generally 9 to 6 with some flexibility, and weekend rotations. This is a 33-bed complex opening soon. The current plan is restaurant-style ordering and dining, and a hot hotel-type continental breakfast in the a.m.’s.

Universal Care Workers (RA) (RCAC)

Skaalen Heights RCAC, a division of Skaalen Retirement Services in Stoughton, is opening its brand new Residential Care Apartment Complex, on the main campus! It is an assisted living apartment facility, which shares resources with our nursing home, CBRF, and memory care centers. We are looking for caring, compassionate individuals to provide daily cares and activities to the elderly.

Wages are based on experience with premium shift pay. Potential to earn time and half or double time for picking up weekend shifts, also $100 bonus for picking up weekday shifts.

* Variety of duties available: medication administration, kitchen duties and/or housekeeping. Some flexibility may be available in work assignments.
CBRF/CNA training preferred, but may train the right people.
