Director for Assisted Living Facility
Skaalen will be expanding its campus by adding a 33-unit RCAC (Residential Care Apartment Complex) called Skaalen Heights. We are looking for a full time Director who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility. This will include:
• Hiring, scheduling, orientating new employees and supervising staff
• Assessing and processing admissions of new residents
• Forming relationships and giving support to residents and their families
• Establish and maintain annual budget.
• Create and maintain relationships with community organizations
• Maintain compliance with appropriate government agencies
The ideal candidate will be a licensed RN, have prior assisted living experience, with business management and supervisory skills.

Treatment Nurse - RN or LPN
This benefit-eligible position is 30-35 hours per week including every other weekend. The hours are open for discussion but will overlap day & pm shift. The successful candidate will mainly be responsible for wound care and other treatments of our residents.
Prefer someone with prior experience. Must have a current State of Wisconsin license.
Rate of pay will depend on experience & licensure.
36 hours per week Monday - Friday, on call every other weekend, eligible for benefits. The successful candidate needs to have completed a Health Unit Coordinator program or equivalent work experience. Must have knowledge of Excel, Word, and Electronic Charting systems along with excellent oral and written skills. Need to be extremely organized and possess the ability to multi-task.
RN & LPNs
Part time, benefit openings on pms and full time on nights. Also openings in the Weekender program - Required to work at least two weekend shifts per month and two holidays per year (one must be Christmas Eve or New Years Eve). The successful candidate must possess a current State of Wisconsin license. Recent experience is preferred, but willing to train the right person. (New graduates are welcome to apply.)
Part time, benefit openings on all shifts. We also have non-benefit openings in the Weekender and In House Pool programs. The Weekender program requirements are to work 2 shifts per weekend, 2 weekends per month and every other holiday. You have the opportunity to earn vacation time after one year of employment. The In House Pool program requirements are to work 2 weekend shifts per month and to pick up 3 holidays per year. The successful candidate must have completed an approved nursing assistant program and be in good standing on the Wisconsin State Registry.
On Heritage Center (Assisted Living unit) we have the following openings: Day shift - 8 hours every other weekend, PM shift - 16, 20, and 24-hour openings, and Night shift - 16-hour and 8-hour (every other weekend).
On Magnolia Gardens (Memory Care unit) we have 24 and 32-hour openings on the night shift. All positions 20-hours or more are benefit eligible.
Duties include assisting residents with activities of daily living, maintaining cleanliness of rooms, participating in resident programs, administering medication and more. The successful candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Maintenance Technician - New Wages
Earn up to $17.50 per hour (wage based on experience), 40 hours per week with benefits. This is a Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm position including on-call every 5th weekend. This position offers a variety of duties with the upkeep of the facility, both interior and exterior. The successful candidate must have at least one year’s experience in commercial maintenance work, such as painting, electrical, carpentry or plumbing. There could be some weekend and holiday requirements as necessary.
