The Skaalen Rehabilitation Department is a spacious and inviting area offering in-patient and out-patient physical, occupational and speech therapy services
Our focus is on maximizing the resident’s skills and physical abilities for return to a more independent lifestyle. Rehabilitation is a multidisciplinary effort that includes the resident, their family, nursing, therapy, dietary, social services and activities. Therapy programs are tailored to the intensity appropriate for a clients condition and medical needs. Skaalen Rehabilitation services can be billed to Medicare or your insurance directly.

Our staff have therapy degrees, health and fitness specialist certification, years of experience specifically working with geriatrics and stay up-to-date through continuing education.
Room Options:
For those residents who are coming to Skaalen for a short-term rehab stay, we offer our rehab suites. The rehab suites are located just around the corner from our state of the art rehabilitation department and have been designed to offer special amenities for those who are planning on a short-term stay.
Each private suite offers:

- Wall-mounted television with cable service
- DVD/VCR player
- Private telephone for local use
- Reading lamps and guest chairs
- Large windows to allow plenty of natural lighting
